Photo taken early September 2011. Victoria's calving record whilst with us at Woodstock Bower is 1 male and 2 females. Her bull calf this year is our best bull calf. Her heifers have both been retained in our herd. Victoria was purchased at the Upsall centenary sale. She is a lovely shaped milky cow and very typical of the breed.
Photo taken August 2012. Our heifers are weaned and housed over their first winter, they are then kept outside in woodland and rough pasture until being ready for bulling at around 21 months old. Our policy is for our heifers to have their first calf at around 30 and 33 months old.
