Photo taken July 2016. Aylward Wenmar Rothes Queen 1st aged mother was purchased solely because of this heifer calf at foot. Our hopes are coming true as she retains her mothers fantastic maternal traits. RQ 1st has now reared her third calf, her first heifer for us though.

Photo taken July 2016. Melody had her first calf at 2 years old, which is not our usual policy at Woodstock Bower Farm due to ground conditions. Although not the biggest, she has proved to be a great mother, who always rears us a strong well grown calf. Recently sold to a new breeder on the Isle of Man.

Photo taken early September 2017. Victoria X001 was the first calf born here at Woodstock Bower Farm. We are not at all sentimental, she is here based solely on her form as can be seen from her calves. X001 is very milky and althogh carries condition always rears us a great calf. Take a look at H077 if you need to be convinced.

Photo taken early September 2017. Aylward Wenmar Rothes Queen 3rd is a twin daughter frow RQ 39th. She is a true RQ female being very milky and an excellent mother. RQ 3rd has now reared her third calf a bull. She owes us a heifer next year. She is making a great replacement for her aged mother in our herd.

Photo taken September 2016. Secret E013 is not the biggest cow but she has given everything to her calves, and that is all that we demand of our cows. E013 has all the traits of being our sort of sound brood cow that we target. She is not the most photogenic cow that we have!

Photo taken early September 2017. Tessa E012 is a daughter from our old Tessa cow 263, who we sold when we dispersed our aged cows. E012 is just everything we are looking for in a Shorthorn cow. She is certainly one of my favourites on our farm. We have retained two of her daughters, both of which show masses of potential for the future.

Photo taken early September 2017. Tessa G056 is a lovelly quiet natured milky young cow. She is an Aylward Waverley daughter and carries his structure. G056 has produced us her second lovely heifer calf this year.

We now have 7 Tessa females in the herd. We are therefore offering G056 for private sale.
